I think all high school graduates should have to do an honest days labour before they get their diploma so they understand and value a University education. Send them to a construction site in -8 weather and make them clean up silica dust for 8 hours.
I agree. I think in a perfect world, these kids would work a day at McDonald's so they understand what that particular work is like. Maybe they'll appreciate it a little better as adults.
